Posters, banners and leaflets can still work well to raise your profile and get potential new members through the door…BSAC has a range of free promotional materials for you to use.
Once you have your posters and flyers, recruit help from all of your members (or as many as you can) to get your materials out there in the local area…libraries, swimming pools, pubs, workplaces, wherever you can think of where potential new members may be.

York Sub-Aqua Club with their free promo banner
You can order materials through the BSAC Shop. All you have to do is sign in to your MyBSAC and click here. You must be a Branch Officer to order promo materials.Be specific in asking members for help…
Ask members to promote you at their workplace
Why not ask members to put posters for the club up at work?
Ask members to spread the word through their venue connections
Do they have relationships with any venues where posters could be put up for the club? Maybe at their gym, local swimming pool, leisure centre or even the local pub or shop? Asking places cold is fine but you will have more luck through one of your existing members if they already have a relationship with the establishment.
As well as posters and flyers, there is a new UPVC banner available for BSAC clubs.
