Here's how an instructor can use MyBSAC to sign off lessons for members who are not in their club - ie they are guest members from another club.
First, log in to MyBSAC and follow the same steps to switch into the club profile view.
The next step is to add the student to your club's list of members - this will give you the relevant permissions to update their training record.
- Click on 'Members' in the main left-hand menu
- Click on the 'Add new' option
- Choose 'An Existing Member' button
- Click on 'Add Manually'
- Select 'Individual Membership'
The 'Request access to members' screen loads. At this point you will need the guest member's date of birth and membership number (numbers only, no need for the preceding 'A' of the number.)
Select either:
- Event only - choose this if you just want a guest member to be able to attend a training event
- Full - choose this to update their training record

If you are happy to proceed, click 'OK'. The member will be sent an email asking them to approve joining your club.
- Once approved and they are listed in your club, they will appear in the list of club members and you can sign off their training in the normal way.
