Now the diving and snorkelling season is under way, the BSAC Marine Champions team would like to gather as many of your stories as possible, so we can share and promote the project’s successes. It could be a beach clean you have held with your club members, or a survey or underwater club you have organised as a Marine Champion. Or it could be a community event, an awareness-raising evening in your club, or a club campaign success, such as Motion for the Ocean.
Any Marine Champion-related activity that showcases your club’s commitment to protecting our marine environment is a good news story to share via your socials!
And every time you use #BSACMarineChampions when sharing a Marine Champions story until 27 February 2026 you will be entered into a prize draw. The more stories about your club’s Marine Champion activities, the more prize draw entries you will receive.
Our winning Marine Champion will be drawn at random after the closing date and will receive a smart BSAC gilet and beanie hat – perfect for keeping warm on your Marine Champion activities! Good luck...
Terms and conditions
The #BSACMarineChampions prize draw is open to registered Marine Champions only. The hashtag should be used on your club’s social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and should relate to specific marine champion/marine environment club activities and events. The winner will be chosen at random after the closing date. By entering the competition, you are giving BSAC permission to share your Marine Champion story on the BSAC’s own social platforms, and other media as appropriate.
