The MyBSAC membership platform has a responsive design, so it works on a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer. With all functions now accessible through MyBSAC, the dedicated BSAC app has been retired.
Members who have the app on their phone can delete it. The app is no longer connected and will not work.
Mobile functions
The primary features of the app have all been superseded by MyBSAC, such as:
- Proof of membership - accessible as an 'E-Pass' for a smartphone digital wallet
- Proof of qualifications - as above, can be added to digital wallet
- Training events - now visible from the main menu under 'Courses'
- Instructor sign-off - accessed by switching into 'Club' mode and then teaching for a student member record
Benefit for instructors
The move from the app to one single mobile responsive website brings training into one central platform for all recording with lesson sign-off in real time. It also enables faster changes as no app update approval is required, and MyBSAC can be used on desktop as well as mobile devices - making it more accessible for members.
BSAC will shortly add lesson smart lists, which will be set up centrally and can be used by all Club Officers/instructors to see members' progress by lesson.
Create a shortcut
You can create a shortcut on your smartphone's desktop to take you straight to MyBSAC - follow these instructions for how to create a shortcut on an iPhone or Android phone.
