Designed to guide clubs wanting to grow their membership, the BSAC Club Support team has held five Know and Grow sessions so far around the country.

The most recent – at Swansea University last month – brought the total number of BSAC clubs to benefit from the hands-on advice sessions to 62, with a workshop in Scotland now in the pipeline.

The Lloyd Eist Trust, set up in memory of BSAC diver Lloyd Eist, is supporting the workshop’s £10 donation to each participating club to help boost their Facebook advertising.

Lincoln & District SAC chair Simon Wallhead said that after attending the workshop, it was clear their club website and social media needed some updating.

A month after this work started we saw an increase in enquires and converted six try divers into new members, we then ran a two-week Facebook boost which has led to five qualified divers wanting to get involved and 10 new try divers. Thanks to the Know and Grow team – a day well spent!

Clubs wanting to benefit from a workshop are being invited to get in touch, so more sessions can be scheduled.

Please email Adrian Collier if you are interested in attending.
