Where is the BSAC shop located?
A 'BSAC Shop' link is visible within the logged in area of the MyBSAC platform, on the left-hand menu. Accessible to all members.
Who can access the BSAC shop?
Only BSAC members are able to access the shop.
What is available to purchase through the BSAC shop?
Training packs, eLearning, merchandise, instructor products, gift vouchers, club products and physical cards (membership and qualification cards).
There will be a new clothing range coming soon, and we are looking to add new products in future.
Why are there two shopping carts for e-commerce across MyBSAC and the shop?
The shop is an external platform to MyBSAC. You can purchase membership using MyBSAC but all of the above are purchased through the shop.
If I buy a training pack, how do you record the purchase for my training record?
The system logs your purchase against your member record.
What if we want as a club to buy 10 trainee packs in one go and get a discount or to reduce postage costs? At the moment I can only see the ability to buy one for each person.
Individual members will need to purchase their own pack to maintain the system integrity and record their purchase against their MyBSAC profile. This will stop the issue that we currently have with the Unique Reference Numbers (URNs) and will make it easier for instructors.
I'm a Training Officer, how do I buy multiple packs for club members?
See answer above - because the system is linking purchases to members, the member must buy their own training pack.
I have a discount code, how do I redeem it?
There is a box during checkout to enter a discount code.
How do I order the promo marketing materials?
Click on the 'Club products' link - they are all available and remain free to Branch Officers (UK only). Downloads are available to overseas members - visit the product and click on the 'Download' button.
Why has only half of my order arrived?
Fulfilment for some items may be from a third party, so items may be shipped separately.
