Is there somewhere to record any accidents or incidents (outside of the Diver Incident Reports – e.g. cuts and scrapes on poolside, meltdowns etc)? 

You will be able to upload this in the club documents section. 

 

Is it possible to look at qualifications of members from other clubs? For instance - when organising an event, such as a multiple club weekend or when divers want to join other clubs for a dive when on holiday. 

Only if the member is part of your club i.e. dual member 

 

Does a member search only show you details of members from your own club or clubs you are affiliated with? 

Yes, this list is restricted to those members who are listed with your club. 

 

Is there a process so that our Club Officers can approve new members claiming to be a member of our club when they join BSAC? 

The club will be notified when a new member joins. The club does have the facility to remove a member from their list of members. 

 

When a trainee starts, they must join BSAC and then the club needs to get their details and add them to the club rather than it all being done by the trainee? 

The club or the new trainee can register their details on the system unless you are a restricted club?. 

 

What's the difference between BSAC Membership and Individual Membership? 

They are the same. The BSAC Club Membership is the local club fee (levy) and the Individual Membership is for your BSAC membership. 

 

If a member is renewing, does the club assign the club levy or does the person renewing choose from the list? 

Either the member or the club can add the levy. 

 

How do you set affiliation to more than one club? 

The member can through their account, plus the club they have affiliated to will get a notification, any club officer can also add a current member from another club as a dual member. 

 

Can a members list be exported? 

Yes, it can be exported as an Excel file.

Can we generate lists for club membership expiries where these are different from the BSAC expiry date? 

You can set up a smart list for your club and BSAC renewal dates. 

 

Where do I enter Next of Kin details? 

There is an emergency contact section, where there will be an option for two emergency/next of kin contacts. 

 

Will there be more than one field for emergency contacts? Not all of us have family, but some very good friends. 

There will be two emergency contact detail fields. 

 

Who is able to see my emergency contact information? And can I share with specific people? 

This can be downloaded but falls under GDPR with regards to who you can share it with and if the member has consented. 

 

Can members access the club documents area? 

No, this is only available to Club Officers.
