When you book onto a BSAC liveaboard you can have BSAC instructors on hand to support you, if required. This means any training can be delivered on board included in the price.
If you just want to enjoy a diving holiday, that's fine! Crew members will be on hand to guide you and get the most from the experience.
However, on one of our liveaboard boats BSAC instructors are also able to offer bespoke training to meet divers' needs. You'll be in a stunning location on a world-class vessel with BSAC instructors on hand, ready to offer personalised development plans to help meet your diving goals.
Learn to dive
Never dived before? No problem - non-divers who join a trip to learn to dive with us will return with 24 dives and Advanced Ocean Diver qualifications as part of their package.
Learning to dive with BSAC is fun! You'll get to experience an amazing world underwater, develop new skills, challenge yourself, and make friends. With eLearning you can even get started today.
Diver grades
For qualified divers, there is the option to complete grades under the expert tuition of BSAC Egypt's instructors. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine world-class diving with skill development, depth progression and other training.
- BSAC Ocean Diver, Advanced Ocean Diver or Sports Diver courses are included in the trip fee!
- Dive Leader is available priced £300
Skill Development Courses (SDCs)
BSAC instructors are also able to deliver a range of Skill Development Courses (SDCs) during your itinerary. You could complete Accelerated Decompression Procedures, the Buoyancy and Trim Workshop or even a trimix technical course while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Red Sea.
The full range of SDCs will be available in the Red Sea as regional events from 2025 onwards, please enquire for more details. Instructor Training Scheme (ITS) courses are available by request by emailing liveaboard@bsac.com

High quality equipment can be hired for the duration of your trip, charged weekly as follows:

- Backplate + wing £35
- DVs (regulators) £35

Rebreathers (CCRs) are brought from the UK and costs are quoted on individual basis. BSAC Egypt is able to provide support for rebreather diving as follows:
- He cylinder 600€
- O2 cylinder 200€
- Booster pump 400€
