BSAC liveaboards: member experiences

Ali explored the Red Sea on a BSAC liveaboard in January 2024:

I was looked after every step of the way by BSAC staff from being picked up from the airport to being picked up every day to dive. I felt safe and supported and had contacts if need be.

I arrived as an Ocean Diver and in the first two days obtained my Advanced Ocean Diver to allow me to dive to 30 metres. It was all very flexible and was tailored to my requirements. My instructor Makmoud was young but more than qualified. Due to him I am now a more confident diver and my buoyancy and skills improved no end.

After the training it was time for the fun dives: two dives a day on wrecks and coral gardens. At times it was like diving into a tropical fish tank, breathtaking! Stonefish, sting rays and even an octopus. Thank you to the team at BSAC Egypt. I’m a better diver and have lifelong memories.

Where you'll go and what you'll see...

Our vessels sail from and return to Hurghada, which is accessible by direct flights from the UK. Customers have the option to purchase through a travel agent for an inclusive package with flights with ABTA/ATOL bonds. This option adds 20% to the package prices.

Our vessels will enable you to experience the classic Red Sea routes! Example itineraries include:

• Northern route - Straits of Tiran, Abu Nuhas, Ras Mohammed
• Northern Wrecks and Reefs - Thistlegorm, Rosalie Moller, Shark & Yolanda, Dunraven, Giannis D
