When you join BSAC, you join a vibrant, supportive community that shares your love of the marine world. And your BSAC membership enables you to make the most of what this community has to offer.
From planning dives or supporting your training to social get-togethers and scuba/snorkel adventures, there’s endless ways you can benefit from being part of our community. Here are just a few….
Connect with your scuba ‘tribe’
We all know scuba is sociable, and with clubs around the UK as well as worldwide, there’s a large network for you to connect with. Reaching out to get to know other clubs and members will not only widen your social circle but also benefit your own scuba or snorkelling experiences.
Build your skills and knowledge
There is a wealth of skills, experience and knowledge in the BSAC community and connecting with others can also mean you can tap into this resource. From clubs sharing instructors or organising joint training sessions to helping each other out when resources are short, there’s always an opportunity to learn and grow.
Connecting with other clubs can help you plan a dive trip, gain insider knowledge of their local sites, or provide the opportunity to share resources, for the benefit of all.
Expand your diving horizons
As a BSAC member, you can also go diving with another BSAC club. Some clubs will make any spare spaces on their club trips available to other members, or you may be able to join them on day trips to a local dive centre. And joint club trips are a great way to explore the underwater world while making new friends in the BSAC scuba community.
