Ensure your club's committee information is kept up to date using MyBSAC to set a role. Here's how:
Only the six main Club Officers are able to update roles within the club - Chair, Diving Officer, Training Officer, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary.
Add a role to a member
- First, make sure you are switched in to your club profile within the platform.
- Next, search for the member either with a 'Quick Search' or by using a Smart List under the 'Members' menu option
- Click on the member and then 'Roles' under the second-level menu

- Towards the top right, is a blue button '+ Add Role' above the existing list of roles.

- Click on this and choose the new role. You will need to include their first name, surname, gender, and email address exactly as shown in their profile (ie no nicknames).
- Complete the change and save.
Under the club profile they should now show under the list of members with 'Active roles'.
Note: it is not possible to amend a club role - if a role changes or is wrong, follow the process below to remove it and start again.
Remove a club role ('Historic' roles)
To remove a role from a member, search for the member, click on 'Roles' for them - under 'Actions' click the three dots and choose 'Delete contact'. Note this only removes the role, it does not delete them from your club or Sport:80.
