Debbie Roberts has been welcomed as the new BSAC Regional Coach for the West Midlands region.
Debbie is an active diver and club and regional team instructor, who has supported and delivered a wide variety of skill development courses (SDCs). She has been an instructor for almost four years and worked closely with the West Midlands Regional Team for more than three years, which has further developed her instructional skills.
Debbie said:
I would like to strengthen our region further by engaging clubs to support each other, perhaps when clubs may be short on instructors or in a particular area and potentially sharing resources, to build a stronger, more robust, supportive region.
I have been fortunate enough to inherit an excellent, dedicated team and we all look forward to meeting our branch members on upcoming events. Remember, the regional team is here to support you – we would love to hear from you so don’t be afraid to get in touch! We are always on the lookout for new instructors to join the team.

The West Midlands is a very busy region! Debbie will be supporting some very active members who have extensive knowledge and experience, in clubs that are actively recruiting and training new divers. We wish her every success in the Regional Coach role.
