BSAC Japan’s 2025 award winners were recently honoured at a series of regional meetings held in Tokyo, Osaka and Okinawa.

Part of BSAC International, BSAC Japan manages the development and operation of a parallel BSAC training and certification system for Japanese divers.

Each year, BSAC Japan celebrates the success of its network of Dive Centres as part of its annual regional get-togethers.

BSAC Japan is not a membership-based organisation in the same way as BSAC UK is. Training is delivered through approved dive centres and shops who have their own instructors, and through independent instructors.

Pre-Covid, BSAC Japan held an Annual Meeting for dive centres and instructors and at this meeting updates to training were communicated, and safety messages were communicated and awards presented.
