BSAC has become a full member of The Welsh Sports Association (WSA), in order to better support clubs and members who dive and snorkel in Wales.
BSAC is the National Governing Body for scuba diving and snorkelling in the UK, having been established in 1953. The organisation strives to be the go-to community for anyone wanting to learn about, enjoy and protect the underwater world.
The community is supported with the highest quality diver training, safety recommendations and an extensive network of clubs and centres so people can choose how, when and where they wish to dive and train.
BSAC joins the WSA as a Full Member, looking to take advantage of its DBS checking service for the sport and leisure sector and partner offer with IT provider Sport:80, as well as collaborating with the WSA's membership network and like-minded organisations.
BSAC CEO, Mary Tetley, commented:
BSAC is delighted to become a member of the WSA. We have a number of Welsh scuba clubs and a vibrant university club in Cardiff.
We are looking forward to strengthening our connections in Wales and working with the WSA.
