BSAC’S Try Tech is coming to Chepstow, with the event expanded to four days over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.
Following the success of Try Techs at Stoney Cove and Vobster last year, Try Tech will be held on 25th to 28th May at NDAC (the National Diving and Activity Centre) in Chepstow. The event is open to BSAC members and non-members, see booking information below.

Have a go at Technical diving
Try Tech events are ideal for divers thinking of moving over to CCR or rebreather divers looking to have a go on another unit. Rebreather units available for the sessions include AP, Poseidon, Liberty and Red Bare.

BSAC members £60 (and £25 to have a go on a second unit)
Non-BSAC members £70 (and £35 to have a go on a second unit)

The Chepstow event is expected to be a sell-out. The expanded timetable also includes Combined Skill Development Courses run by the Try Tech team;
Combined Twinset Diver and Accelerated Decompression Procedures (ADP) - Diver grade needed: Sports Diver (or equivalent with a Nitrox qualification).
Combined Sports and Explorer Mixed Gas Open Circuit - Diver grade needed: ADP
Combined Sports and Explorer Mixed Gas Closed Circuit - Diver grade needed: CCR air diluent qualification
Also planned are evening talks by BSAC’s Technical Team and a Saturday / Sunday night BBQ.
