Our club, ‘The Reading Branch of The British Sub-Aqua Club’ (RBSAC) was formed in 1954 as branch 0028. We have a long-term lease on premises based in Palmer Park Reading. This includes clubhouse with bar, training rooms, boat storage rooms and equipment rooms. We have two boats, RIBs, air and Nitrox compressors, a 4x4 tow vehicle and full training equipment.
Thursday evening is our regular club social night which is normally well attended. We organise many other social events throughout the year. We currently have 74 members.
The club has a very active diving schedule which includes anything from day trips to two week expedition trips. We use both Hardboats and club RIBs. Diving is UK and worldwide. We welcome those who are interested in learning to dive and all levels of existing divers. If interested do come and see us on a Thursday or call/visit our website www.rbsac.org.uk
