For divers in the North West – and beyond – Friday 28 August is an essential date for the diary as the NW Dive Fest is returning to Capernwray for its fourth year.
Organised by BSAC North West Regional Team, the NW Dive Fest is a celebration of all things scuba and sees divers travelling from around the region to soak up the atmosphere. And with the 2026 Fest taking place at the start of the August Bank Holiday, organisers hope to see more old and new faces at the Lancashire-based inland site.
North West Regional Coach and Fest organiser Stephen Dorricott said this year’s event was shaping up to be the biggest yet, all in support of Air Ambulance:
We want the NW Dive Fest to be a true family-friendly event that inspires the next generation of divers. By creating opportunities for younger people and newcomers to get involved, we hope to show that scuba diving is not just a sport — it’s an adventure that builds confidence, friendships, creates lifelong memories and can be a lot of fun.
What’s on
