Snorkellers of all ages and experience levels are invited to join us in Swanage on Sunday 23 August for a fantastic day celebrating BSAC snorkelling.
Whether you're taking your first steps into the underwater world or you're an experienced sea snorkeller, the BSAC Snorkelling Festival promises a relaxed, fun-filled day exploring one of the UK's favourite snorkelling destinations.
Running from approximately 10:00am to 4:00pm, the festival will bring together BSAC members from across the country to enjoy casual snorkelling, meet fellow enthusiasts and celebrate everything that makes snorkelling such a rewarding activity.
What to expect
The day has something for everyone, including:
- Casual snorkelling suitable for all experience levels
- Optional training sessions (subject to demand)
- Opportunities to meet and snorkel with members from other clubs
- A family-friendly beach day with plenty of time to relax and enjoy a picnic
- A chance to connect with the wider BSAC snorkelling community
Clubs are welcome to organise their own snorkelling activities throughout the day and will be responsible for planning sessions for their own members.
Parking is available at Swanage Pier and nearby public car parks, including Broad Road Car Park. If you're planning to make a weekend of it, Swanage also offers a great choice of local campsites and B&Bs.
