TV adventurer and SCUBA snorkelling correspondent Andy Torbet is packing his parachute ready to drop into the Scoob and Snork Fest this coming Saturday, 25th July at the West Lake of Spring Lakes in Long Eaton, Nottingham.
Hosted by BSAC Centre, Diverstime, the star of Scoob & Snork Fest will be undertaking a 'Skydive to Snorkel'. Together Andy and his team of five skydivers will jump at the same time to parachute into the lake and begin their snorkel back to shore. They’ll be equipped in full snorkel gear when they jump from the aircraft at approximately 2,500ft - an amazing sight!
Back on terra firma there will also be a host of scuba and snorkelling activities to suit all skill levels. From try dives, rebreather sessions and snorkelling tasters to kit stalls featuring the likes of Cressi, Suunto, Apeks, Ocean Reef, Kubi, Miflex and DYNAMICNORD, the Scoob & Snork Fest offers something for everyone. There will also be a DJ and food stalls, as well as a raffle, all to raise funds for the RNLI.
