BSAC annually produces a year-view wall planner with the Spring and Neap tides which is free to download in a variety of sizes.

With the tides for the coming 12 months, the planner can be used to map out both yours and your club’s dives for the new diving year.

Many thanks to BSAC's Technical Advisor Mike Rowley who kindly provides the neaps and springs chart for us each year.

The PDF can be printed off in either A4 or A3, perfect for the dive club noticeboard or the planner can be downloaded in larger sizes – A2 and A1 – which can be sent to your local printers or copy shop if you need a large size.

Please click below to download the PDFs.

Please note: this blog post was originally published with planners missing a Neap tide in September. As of 21 Aug, this has now been updated to include the Neap.

If you want to use an editable PDF but don't have the software then you can use free websites like this to personalise your year planner.

Add the tides to your digital calendar too!

A new addition for 2020, producing an ICS file of the tides went down so well that we've done this again for you!

For those who don't know what an ICS file is, it means that you can upload the tides onto your electronic calendar (either on a computer, smartphone or tablet) for digital access. You can download the file and find instructions of how to import it onto your calendar system below.

Download ICS file

  1. Download the ICS file
  2. Right-click and select 'Open with...' > 'Microsoft Outlook'
  3. This should open a calendar window, click 'Save and close'

  2. Click 'Import & Export' on the left-hand sidebar
