Your underwater adventure starts here! Sign up to get started.
Your chosen BSAC Training Centre or club will teach you to become a safe, confident and self-reliant diver.
Here’s how it will work…
Firstly, you need to complete the form below and pay for your eLearning.
This will cover:
- Your eLearning and digital training materials
- Qualification upon completion
- 12 months’ BSAC membership – including one-to-one training support, diving insurance, diving kit offers and much more.
Once you've signed up...
A BSAC mentor will liaise with you to support you and will look to arrange the training provider to facilitate the pool and open water training with you.
A training centre or club will subsequently schedule your pool and open water training on dates that work for you. All dive kit will be provided by training centres and many clubs also provide equipment. This can be discussed with your mentor.
Once you have qualified you can join a club to continue your diving or stay with the centre.

Your medical fitness to dive
Almost everyone can learn to dive. However, you must be declared as medically fit to do so. This is done through a self-certification form which can be downloaded here. If you select ‘Yes’ to any of the questions in the form, you will need to contact a UKDMC medical referee to confirm you are fit to dive. If you answer ‘No’ to all questions, please go ahead and sign up.
You do not need to complete a medical to begin BSAC eLearning, however, BSAC is not liable if you complete your eLearning and are later declared medically unfit to dive.
