Bournemouth & Poole BSAC 006 was founded in 1953 and is currently one of the most active dive clubs in the area. We own a 7.2 metre RIB and during the dive season – weather permitting – go out every Saturday, Sunday, most Thursdays (evening dives) plus other mid-week dives whenever there is the demand. We welcome members and visitors from any training agency but do not currently undertake initial, pool-based training. For divers with a basic qualification (e.g. BSAC Ocean Diveror PADI Open Water Diver) we can offer ongoing training, cross-training to BSAC qualification and some Skill Development Courses. We have limited access to a pool for kit testing and Training purposes. Individual members and the club as a whole organise dive trips in the UK and abroad.
We meet socially most Mondays evenings and have a calendar of social activities throughout the year to which members, visitors, friends and family are welcome
