BSAC Technical ServicesThe BSAC Technical Services provide for a wealth of information and advice to support safe enjoyable diving whatever your diving grade and interests.INFORMATION A continually expanding resource of information exists in the Information Services section on a range of specific topics, safety guidelines and Incident Reports. They are available online or from the Diving Resources section at HQ TRAINING SUPPORT General and specific guidance is available from the HQ Technical Department and through the National Coaching Scheme. The Diver Training Programme is supported through a regularly monitored and updated programme and enhanced by provision of a range of Skill Development Courses and a national Instructor Training Scheme. 
DIVING RESOURCESThe resources necessary to support a wide range of diving activities are covered in a comprehensive and expanding series of Resource Centres including those to support Dive Planning, Instructor Aids, Expeditions and the rapidly developing area of Technical Diving (Rebreathers and Mixed Gases). SAFETY GUIDANCE Training is geared to make diving fun but safe. The BSAC provides ongoing safety advice to ensure that members, and all divers, can continue to build on their experience safely and incorporate new ideas. ADVICE All members have access to a wealth of expertise within the BSAC, either from senior divers and Instructors within a branch, the Coaching Scheme or from the staff at BSAC HQ. |
