Thousands of BSAC diving
expeditions take place every year all over the world. The vast
majority of these are organized within BSAC branches. Details of BSAC
Branch expeditions can be found by contacting the Diving Officer or
Expeditions Officer of the branch organizing the expedition.

here where they have successfully applied for a BSAC grant.
July 2011, Summer Isles, NW Scotland Read Report
Led by Michael Rickard, 17 members from Sub C Divers, Bury SAC, and Chaumont SAC branches dived for 6 days from their base a Tanera Mor. The expedition team had to be self sufficient and
flexible, relying on own
compressors and RIBs. They explored and documented dive sites, conducted Seasearch surveys and developed participants' skills This expedition has been awarded a 1000 Pound grant from the BEGS Scheme.
August 2011, North Shetland, Read Report
Following on from a successful previous expedition, a group of 16 members from Clidive branch plan to dive for two weeks around the remote area of north Shetland. Led by Ben Jaffey, they want to document rarely dived locations, both sketching wrecks (E49) and undertaking Seasearch programmes of scenic sites, and extend the dive guide they compiled on a previous expedition. They will tow their RIB and compressors from London to their self-catering accommodation at Saxa Vord. Launching and mooring will be at Balta Sound. This expedition has been awarded a 1000 Pound grant from the BEGS Scheme.

August 2011, Guernsey, Herm & Sark Read Report
Following on from a successful previous expedition, to South France in 2010, a group of 10 members from University of London SAC and Crawley divers have explored the channel islands Guernsey, Herm and Sark for 11 days. Led by Ali Gaudion they documented rarely dived locations as well as trained and assisted several members towards their next dive grade. They towed their RIB from London to their base at St. Peter port. This expedition has been awarded a 750 Pound grant from the BEGS Scheme.
October 2011, Cumbrae, Firth of Clyde Read Report
The purpose of this expedition was to facilitate divers from Yorkshire in preparing for First Class Diver and Advanced Instructor assessments and complete the AP2 section of advanced diver. The expedition was based around diving in the Cumbrae area with a wreck survey theme based around the Nautical Archaeology Society (NAS) survey principles. This expedition has been awarded a 250 Pound grant from the BEGS Scheme.

single-day trips are planned by the West Cumbria branch to produce a
"wreck tours" - type site map of the SS Inkosi. The expeditions team
made up of three FCDs, two ADs and one DL and several additional boat
handlers will dive off two RIBs. This
expedition led by Andrew Pritt
has been awarded a 500 Pound grant from the BEGS Scheme in 2010. Due to various mishaps (see interim report) the main bulk of the diving of this expedition is postponed to 2011.
