BSAC People behind the scenes of Britain's Secret Seas
BSAC members - presenter Paul Rose and researcher Sarah Conner - are two key people behind this fantastic new series.
Paul Rose, BSAC member and Britain's Secret Seas' expedition leader
Paul can still vividly remember his first ever UK dive at the age of 18. “It was off Chesil beach with Ilford Sub-Aqua Club and I can still recall that first moment underwater when I felt free…I was a diver. I don’t ever want to lose that feeling.”
Diving has been Paul’s life and his career. From being a BSAC club diver, he has gone on to forge a highly successful career in commercial diving, scientific research, expedition leading and documentary-making.
Sarah Conner, programme researcher
Sarah is an Advanced Instructor and has been an active member of BSAC since 2004. She now works for BBC Factual Documentaries.
Currently in the BBC Science Unit, she worked with Paul and the Britain's Secret Seas as a researcher.Read how Sarah got involved in the making of the programme
