Lowestoft Sub Aqua Club Membership Rates
We have a number of membership classes depending on your age and what you want to do, i.e. dive, snorkel or just swim. All memberships run from 1 June each year. If you join us at other times of the year we will pro rata your membership. If you join us in April or May you'll pay a full year membership but this will take you up to the following 1 June, i.e. you get up to 14 months membership.
The fee is made up of two parts - one payable to Lowestoft Sub Aqua Club and another payable to BSAC.
Current full year charges are as follows (first column is LSAC/second is BSAC):

| Junior snorkeler | £ 12 | £17.50 Includes BSAC digital magazine. No club voting powers. |
| Associate | £ 18 | £44 a non-diving category of member |
Adult divers/snorkelers are members aged 18 or over
Junior divers are members are aged 14 to 17
Pool diver members are aged 12 and 13
Student divers are aged 18 to 23 and in full time education
Junior snorkelers are any age up to 18
Associate members can be any age - these members cannot use dive/snorkel equipment in the pool
In addition if members wish to undertake diver training we have a modular training fee.

All books required for the courses also need to be paid for - these are £40 for Ocean diver trainees and £25 or £35 each for higher grades.
All adult members using the pool pay £3 per session. Junior members pay £1. Non members wishing to use the pool during our sessions pay £4.
So, how much is it going to cost you to learn to dive with us?
An adult joining as an Ocean Diver trainee will pay £262 if joining for a full year, including BSAC membership and all training fees/materials and junior divers will pay £175.
