Compressor Operation

The Compressor Operation half-day course teaches the basics of compressor operation suitable to fill cylinders with compressed air.

Theory is combined with practical experience of using a compressor, enabling safe use of the equipment. If you would like to be able to fill your own cylinders and assist club activities then this is a suitable course for you.

The course is open to any member and no diving qualification is needed.

Gas Blender

The Gas Blender one-day course provides training in mixing Nitrox - or helium mixes. Both cover theory, complimented by practice to test skills learned in aspects of mixing gas. Successful candidates will be confident to mix gas to within safe diving tolerances for either Nitrox or gases using helium.

Calculation tables are used, allowing gas mixing with typically encountered variables. With the Mixed gas course, there is the added consideration of blending mixes using helium.

The Gas Blender course is open to any member of Ocean Diver grade or similar.
