East Midlands Region

The East Midlands Coaching team aims to provide opportunities for divers to bridge the gap between their current qualification level and the next. Consequently, we offer a series of preparation courses such as Advanced Diver Courses for small branches with no ready access to Advanced Instructors; First Class Diver preparation sessions for those individuals wanting support to tackle the top diving qualification; and sessions for those wanting help in preparing for instructor examinations.

Our range of Skill Development Courses includes Boat-handling, Chartwork and Position Fixing and the Diver Cox'n assessment - all based at Whitby or on the Humber. Our local inland training venue, Gildenburgh, allows us to offer events such as the Advanced Lifesaver Award, the Practical Rescue Management and Search and Recovery courses.
