Snorkelling is sport in its own right and forming a dedicated snorkelling club, or starting up a snorkelling section within an existing BSAC scuba club, is very straightforward.

A BSAC snorkelling club allows both young people and adults to benefit from the BSAC training programme delivered by qualified instructors and enjoying the social aspect of a club with other keen snorkellers.

A BSAC snorkelling club can organise snorkelling trips to local sites and to overseas resorts increasing the experience of its members.

BSAC has a team of Regional Snorkelling Advisers offering assistance to existing or prospective BSAC clubs in all aspects of delivering snorkel training or setting up a new club or snorkelling section of an existing  BSAC Scuba Club.
