Lowestoft SAC recently ran a pool session in the dark to give some of their members their very first experience of a ‘night dive’. The night session was arranged thanks to the support of Waterlane Leisure Centre and coordinated by the club’s new Diving Officer Nick Morgan Baker.

With the pool dimly light with emergency lighting, all that could be seen was the outline of divers with their torches.

Nick said: “We laid out reel lines in the pool for divers to swim   alongside, while some divers laid lines themselves. But for all in the pool it was a great opportunity to practise some different skills in a safe environment.”
