Membership prices for 2009 are split into two aspects, you must purchase both:
1) BSAC membership: £ 50.00
2) Aquaknots membership: £ 140.00
Total price: £ 190.00 per year.
Yes - BSAC offer an interest free, guaranteed direct debit scheme.
Our weekly ‘subs’ go toward covering the cost of hiring a private pool, fees are as follows:

Adult members: £3.00

Under 16 members: £1.50
Non-members, restricted to family members or those accompanying trainees/members, pay slightly more each week:

Under 16 non-members: £2.00
As a trainee member of Tottenham Aquaknots you will be provided with all the equipment required for the pool training sessions. However you may wish to purchase your own mask, snorkel and fins once you get started.
The club dives in a variety of UK resorts, during the summer months we regularly take the RIB to the south coast and Dorset in particular. Members also regularly take day trips to a number of inland UK dive sites as well as the odd foreign trip.
Yes - anyone over 12 years of age who passes a simple medical questionnaire can join. However it is a condtion of Tottenam Aquaknots that all persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
The club and the training provided is very flexible, there is no pressure for members to attend the club every week. Training can be done at your own pace, and as long as the training officer has been foretold, it is possible to arrange your training when it’s convenient for you.
Yes - all BSAC qualifications are internationally recognised and will allow you to dive, whilst on holiday, with other scuba agencies. BSAC qualified divers are often held in high esteem due to the quality and safety-orientated nature of our training. Additionally, more often than not, BSAC divers are well-practised divers.
Of course - we welcome all BSAC members both old-friends and new divers!
Yes - the club members are the proud owners of a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) called Mach 1 - we regularly take the boat for diving trips and weekend breaks during the summer months. All diving members of our club are welcome to join these regular trips.
Yes - but you must become a member first. Aquaknots and BSAC welcomes all divers even if you qualified with another agency whether that’s recreational, commercial or military.

No - BSAC and Tottenham Aquaknots are a not-for-profit organisation: all our members are dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, who give their time and knowledge free-of-charge! This also allows our members to participate directly in the branch, it's growth and the development of both Aquaknots and BSAC as a whole.
