Newmarket Divers, British Sub-Aqua Club Branch 796, has around 45 members with varying interests including 8 nationally qualified instructors.
Newmarket Divers and BSAC welcome divers who have been trained by other agencies. So if you've been trained by PADI, NAUI, SSI, CMAS, or anyone else, you can still be a member, and you don't need to do a cross-over course. If you do want to move to BSAC for further training that's OK too, and there are a range of options depending on your diver qualification level. BSAC provide a cross-over reference file here.
We meet on Friday evenings from 7.00pm - 9.00pm at Bottisham Village College swimming pool, which is in the Sports Centre.
Members and their families are entitled to use the pool free of charge on Friday nights between 8.00pm - 9.00. Afterwards we usually gather at the local pub.
The club arranges a variety of trips each year, both abroad and in the UK.
