Does your club have the facilities to run a training day event?
Your club could team up with other clubs to run an event between yourselves.
If you have spare capacity within your club and can offer training for others then this may be for you. BSAC are making increased efforts to promote Diver Training Days for any member to gain their qualifications more effectively.
There may be a variety of reasons individuals may need assistance, including:
- Missing a couple of lessons
- Don’t have enough active instructors within their own club
- Short of time e.g. Before a further course
- Club instructors are overloaded
Involvement in this type of event provides good publicity and an opportunity to raise the profile of your club. Any events planned can be added to the Diver Training Days web page. You can advertise a single lecture or a day of planned practical training. You could also offer to share your pool with clubs struggling for pool time and even sign up to our Pool share scheme.
By advertising your event you may find BSAC Direct members in your local area that would benefit from your support.
Pricing for these events should aim to cover costs.
